Hares: Broken Seal, Unzip Me Quick, Mayumi & Lickalotapus

Location: Phú Thạnh, Dong Nai

Can it never end?
Broken Seal is at it again but this time with a simple 'A-A' run in a beautiful green Latex forest, avoiding water buffalo and giant watering holes wherever possible. Plenty of chances for good easy running with lots of natural checks and the ability to get lost on trail.
Weather pending you may get a little wet & dirty, but that's the way the Hashers like it! We will be returning to the
backwaters of Phu Thanh, South-East of Ho Chi Minh City. If you are a resident in District 2 you may be pleased to note that there will be a District 2 pick up.

On On has been organized to be at Winking Seal.

Hashing: for the Fit Unfit Misfits

Welcome to Saigon Hash

Bus at 2It is not easy to describe what the Hash really is. Some say it is for cross-country running. That is true, we run every Sunday through the countryside surrounding Ho Chi Minh City. We also have a trail for walkers. Others say that the Hash is a social club, also true. Some say that we are a drinking club, true also as we drink beer (and soft drinks) after each run/walk.

If this sounds good to you, or if you want to try it at least once, so you know what we are talking about, you are very welcome to join us on the bus out to running and walking trails in the countryside. It is great fun and you do not need to be an experienced runner to participate. Trails are 7-9 km (strictly non-competitive) for runners and the walks are usually around 5-6 km.

We meet every Sunday at the Caravelle Hotel in District 1, HCMC. The bus leaves promptly at 2:00 pm. It's best to arrive at around 1:30 -1:45 with the bus returning usually around 7 to 8 pm. Bring running shoes, extra clothes, a great sense of humor and a thirst for some beer wouldn't hurt. Do not forget to bring some money for the hash fees (VND300,000 for expats and only VND150,000 if you are Vietnamese) and some extra if you want to buy T-shirts or other gear from the Haberdash hash shop.
